National Highways is closing the M4 north of Bristol for a full weekend in October as part of the work on the A432 Badminton Road Bridge.
The M4 will be closed in both directions between junctions 18 and 19 from 7pm on Friday 24th October to 6am on Monday 27th October.  This is for new bridge beams to be installed.
This work was originally planned for Friday 10th October to Monday 13th October, but has been delayed.  National Highways say that the date change is not expected to impact on the project programme with the new bridge due to open to the public early next year.
