Lilliput Park was originally a landscape garden with ornamental and native trees.
Laid out in the late 19th century as the garden for Lilliput Court (previously known as Down Leaze), the large house that stood where the new housing is today. The steps and the terraces associated with the house are still visible at the east end of the park.
Lilliput Park play area has a toddler play area and fun equipment for older children.
There is also a range of adult outdoor fitness equipment for people aged 14+ years.
Near to the adult fitness equipment, you will find a 5-a-side football pitch and basketball court. The park and play area can be accessed either via Kingfisher Road or by an entrance adjacent to Lilliput Close (by the Love Lane underpass).
