SGC are appealing for businesses, community groups and organisations (rather than individuals) who want to have an Emergency Bike Repair Kit. Their location will then be mapped online so cyclists will know the nearest place to go to fix a puncture or carry out repairs.
Bike repair kit giveaway – apply for a free emergency bike repair kit to help keep cyclists on the move.
Each kit has to be kept in a public place that is accessible to all to help promote cycling throughout South Gloucestershire.
To find out how to apply, email transport.policy@southglos.gov.uk The deadline for applications is Monday 15 September.
The kits, which include a multi repair tool, pre glued patches and inner tubes, tyre levers, floor pump, and bike lights, have been funded through the Climate and Nature Emergency Action Plan.
