South Gloucestershire Council has informed us that they will no longer supply bin hangers displaying future collection dates. Instead, you can find information about future waste and recycling collection dates in the following ways:
- The Voice magazine
- On flyers in South Glos libraries and One Stop Shops
- On the South Glos Council website: https://beta.southglos.gov.uk/waste-and-recycling-collection-date/
- South Glos Council’s social media channels and the Council’s weekly update e-newsletter.
Residents who do not have access to the internet can request a calendar at the Council’s One Stop Shops in Yate, Kingswood and Patchway, use a computer at a local library to download one or call 01454 868000. Waste and recycling collections over Christmas and New Year 2024/25
Over Christmas and New Year there will be no waste and recycling collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The table below shows the temporary collection day changes for the festive period. Collection dates can be viewed on South Glos Council’s website: https://beta.southglos.gov.uk/waste-and-recycling-collection-date/
The Sort It recycling centres will be closed from 2pm on Christmas Eve and all day on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. They will be open from 8:30am to 4:30pm on the days between Christmas and New Year.
