If you’ve walked round Wapley Bushes in the last few days, you will have noticed that some large bramble patches have been cut down at the top end of the wood. These clearings are ready for the tree planting and clean-up day this weekend (25th March, meeting 10 am at the Shire Way entrance)

On Thursday 23rd you will start to see dormouse nesting tubes on branches in the wood – an ecological consultancy has been given permission to carry out a dormouse survey.
