On Thursday 20th September 2018, Dodington Parish Council were informed by South Gloucestershire Council that the applicant appealing against the Tern Inn planning refusal has taken the decision to withdraw the appeal. What does this mean?
Planning application PK16/5906/O is now decided once and for all, with the decision being refusal. Therefore, as we stand today, the pub and car park will not be developed. Obviously, we don’t know what the owners/applicants plans are for the future – they could put in another planning application, they could seek to sell the pub and car park, or they could just “land bank” the site.
