Dodington Parish Council has been made aware of a potential scam in the local area.
Yate Town Council has contacted us to make us aware that a person has been knocking on residents’ doors claiming to work for the Town Council and would like to talk about works which can be done on residents’ houses.
Please note that nobody from Yate Town Council or Dodington Parish Council has or would go knocking door to door regarding works which can be done to your property.
Please remain vigilant. Yate Town Council has reported this incident to the appropriate agencies.
