Shire Way entrance to the woodland
The biggest challenge for the woodlands at Wapley Bushes Local Nature Reserve is Ash Dieback Disease. This walk through the woodlands will show you how Dodington Parish Council is tackling the problem with help from Wapley Bushes Conservation Group.
Find out how to recognise Ash Dieback Disease and how you could help with replanting. See the three splendid new interpretation boards as we go round – and meet some of our favourite trees!
Meet 10.30 am at the Shire Way gate next to the zebra crossing near Cherington, BS37 8US. Parking is available on Shire Way main road. The route goes through grassland and along sloping woodland paths. This guided walk is suitable for all ages.
Booking before the event is essential because of COVID. Please do not come along without booking. Follow this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/love-parks-week-free-guided-walk-wapley-bushes-local-nature-reserve-tickets-161938210547
